Solbridge International School of Business

SolBridge International School of Business is an academic institution in Daejeon, South Korea, launched by Woosong University in 2007. John E. Endicott, who serves as its Vice Chancellor, and now, President of Woosong University, is best known for his work on nuclear nonproliferation (for which he was nominated for the Nobel Prize). The school is known for its focus on both business and its implications for government and society with an emphasis on the specific features of business in Asia. The business program focuses on finance, logistics, marketing and technology transfer. SolBridge International School of Business features both an undergraduate major in business and an M.B.A. program.

SolBridge is the first business school in Korea with an international faculty and student body. Most faculty are American or American educated, and all courses are taught in English following an American Curriculum model. The Dean, Woody Jun, is a leading figure in international business.

SolBridge has close ties with businesses and research institutes in Asia including the Beijing Foreign Studies University. The Institute of Asian Business at SolBridge International School of Business is a center for research on business in Asia with a focus on international business, Asian management and convergence management.
